The Tonner Doll Company is one of the preeminent doll companies that design and produce dols in the world. Robert Tonner started the company in 1991. Tonner’s first big success was the 19-inch vinyl American Model dolls in 1994, and then the famous designer introduced 14-inch Betsy McCall doll in 1996, then the Tyler Wentworth fashion doll and Mary Engelbreit’s Ann Estelle in 1999, Kitty Collier and Tiny Betsy McCall in 2000. The previous famous Effanbee Doll Company was purchased by Tonner Companyin 2003.
